I like the fact that they're all handling their grief very differently. Calypso is occupying herself with desperate hope to come back while her parents in the other world are trying to move on. They are definitely grieving but are coping much better than she is. It's very responsible of them as well, though they definitely are not without flaws. It's reasonable to be trying to move on, especially when you don't want your grieving to hurt the life you need to be responsible for.
Again, we need to be aware that she has a limited perspective. We have the advantage of having a less limited perspective compared to them. Ig that's why I always take whatever they say with a grain of salt
