So much happened in this chapter I’m getting emotional whiplash LOL welcome back from hiatus everyone ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
ngl I love the girls in this one. Futaba is a really good friend for Nakata and I like that she looks cute but is cold and a loner, and Yuka is fun and handles witnessing her boyfriend cheating on her REALLY WELL for a high schooler. The way they all acted was messy and awkward and it just made me think of when I was a teenager lol
Even the relationship between Nakata and Tanaka and the ambiguous ending was really well done, in my opinion. Whether they stay together or not isn’t necessarily the point; this is simply a slice of their lives that we’re witnessing.
I’m surprised how much I like this story
hopefully the hiatus isn’t too long
I’m so weirdly invested in where this story is going
Putting my trust issues aside (toxic bl brainrot fr) aRE WE GETTING A PROPOSAL FROM KOYAMI TO MITAMA??????? ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
Victor is clearly not thinking straight and ol’ Johnny Two Dicks clearly doesn’t care about him, and Henry’s heart just kind of has to watch this happen
our boy is so fucking crazy I love him sm
the uno reverse be uno reversing fr fr
She’s just gonna take her dog for a walk, y’all are being weird in these comments (/j I’m so excited LMAO)
I am begging the ML and FL to just confess already and end this god damn misunderstanding iT CAN BE LONG DISTANCE IDC JUST PLEASE (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I can handle a lot of heinous shit but something about the focus on…the taste of fluids…is not really my thing. ( ̄へ ̄)
but I honestly thought this story was… not as bad as the constant criticisms written into the chapters made it out to be. It’s dark and horrible, but I like the insight into both characters in the story who have complicated reasons for feeling why they do. I didn’t think this was a romance and it doesn’t feel romantic; it’s two people who are broken and in an abusive relationship that’s, unfortunately, become codependent.
Wookyung got what he wanted and is fucking miserable, Minho got what he wanted and suffered endlessly for it. I find that interesting! Not enough to read it again, but I didn’t hate my time here while I read it.
second volume ends with a three year time skip but third volume starts at just one year? why?? it would’ve been really nice to see the group more established, and the couple more firmly together! (also why a love rival????)
i have faith in the author but the things being introduced got me questioning
I’m not a huge fan of open endings. I get why the story ended the way it did but it didn’t really give a sense of closure (to me). Maybe I’m just too used to manga going on for way too long, but it almost feels like this book was setting up a final eighth volume rather than being the conclusion.
