I love how gentle this story is! It feels like a couple who just met and are slowly getting to know each other, which is so rare in BL. The extra with Kudou being more assertive and comfortable with Satou is a clear demonstration of how people change in a relationship, and just overall felt very realistic and grounded.

In a weird way I kind of like that Lily’s mom struggles with motherhood. I don’t like how abusive she was, but I think a character wanting to do better and struggling and recognizing that struggle is much more interesting than a character that is just immediately better.
