Dude I am not joking, there's a literal horror film called "The farm" which is literally almost the exact same concept. The film is really graphic and disturbing but it's basically a farm where humans are kept and treated the same as livestock. They're kept naked in cages, slaughtered, butchered and the women even get inseminated to produce milk. It's a film that has traumatized me so much that the moment I saw this I got nauseous.
I am also getting horror vibes from this, but somehow I think the goat from the flashback is going to make it somehow less scary?

I get Brett, his way of handling issues, the mindset of prioritizing efficiency and results over his own emotional satisfaction, how self controlled and emotionally subdued he is, i get all of it especially based on what kind of family and class he was born in but I can’t help but think it’s so sad. Will people like him spend their entire life never fully understanding the extent of their emotions, the type of joy and sadness they can feel, or the experiences they’ll be missing out bc they choose to bottle everything??
