Honest to God, I'm so used to reading brainless "I left my husband but now he's chasing me" type of stories that anytime they ex-posit information via dialogue in here, I can't understand any of the plot. My question for this chapter is: the Dr. is jealous of Islet.... why? Like she wants to be part of the main family orrrrrr?

One thing I NEVER understand is why shitty characters like Viesel aren't immediately disqualified from taking over as heir when it's super clear that they aren't good enough or are terrible people.
The most obvious choice for heir would be Shannat because Viesel is a waste of oxygen, Gallahan wants nothing to do with the household politics, and Florentia is still very young. Nobody else is really contending for the seat.

the classic "I can't emote properly and treat my wife coldly so she thinks I hate her when I've actually been in love her this entire time" male lead. I really hope she makes him grovel a bit because even if he wasn't outright abusive or horrible, neglect is still a shitty thing.
I AM very excited to see where this goes because the premise is different enough to be different from other reincarnation stuff AND he basically creamed himself in chapter one so it's probably going to be (mildly) sexy
edit: THE NOVEL HAS YANDERE TAGS. I- AHHH I HOPE THEY DELIVER WELLLLL

Not to defend the dude, but if you grow up in an emotionally stunted environment where you're taught your only worth is from your family name, is it so strange that Ruedigar was the way that he was?
Also, man I get that as a transmigrator/isekai/reincarnation whatever character tries to consult the book/game/etc. to see what would happen, I don't understand why they act all surprise when they learn new things. The book is not going to go into the fine details bro.
CAN YALL JUST TALK SHIT OUT PLEASE AND STOP EDGING US READERS WITH SEXY FUN TIMES WITHOUT FULLY SEXY FUN TIMING??? PLEEEASEEEEE I BEG
