ok, im genuinely wondering why so many mangas have to include incest-themed vibes into yaoi stories. like i get if its a fetish, but if you're planning to write a wholesome story maybe don't add it??

From what I read, it was smth like the temple knight guy was from earth and fl and him tried to go back there. But I think ML finds out and confines her and I think tortures her. She thinks she’s in love w him but it was stock holm syndrome. He did love her but he was too evil. Fl fights him w her powers and he dies. She wishes to god or smth and he comes back as an undead. Then they fight for eternity.

In extra chapter, the true ending
After raniero becomes an undead, the presence of the god manipulating him disappeared (he and angelica both become immortal, like he will be alive(?) as undead, angelica woke up after 500yrs, met raniero (he woke up a year before her and waited) angelica has total control over him(physical, not emotionally because she didn't wanted to brainwash him) (she wanted him to feel human emotions like helplessness that she felt before but he kinda accepts it "I lost so it's obvious I have to be under you" angelica goes NOOOO I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE A 'HUMAN' .
THEY travel to the temple together (the journey was super cute) and find out that angelica can return to her world if she wants to, or live here with temple supporting her whenever she needs them (she was their savior), AND SHE DOESN'T LEAVE AND STAY WITH RAINERO!!!! they do not mention it directly but they do end up together (AND ANGELICA AND RANIERO DO LIKE EACH OTHER) it's not exactly love but angelica admits she likes him (but not the blind love) and raniero liked her, like after this hunt kinda really likes her (not really love, novel never mentioned it) but I would like to believe that they lived a bit happily after that. It was fun actually, raniero didn't know shit about unfamiliar world that resembled 19th century so he can't do anything alone, they are the only people who can be with each other, angelica willingly stayed, eden returned to earth
In the 'IF' version, angelica returns to her world leaving our poor (?) raniero alone (she gave him commands to never kill for fun and never creating a country to rule on) and it also shows what happened in earth, she meets eden (eden is not a love interest in any way, he is a colleague only, a rational person) then things happen (it'll be too long if I wrote it all) there were a few more chapters but i couldn't read it....
I liked it because it was not tragedy and kinda fresh and different, and they had nice chemistry and the thrill of ML being an actual fearful villain
And during the scene raniero dies, he lets angelica kill himself without resistance (I frkin cried so much it was so heartbreaking)(they never said why but it's probably because raniero HAD A HUGGGEEEE SOFT SPOT FOR ANGELICA) , angelica agreed to kill him? Because that was the only way to save raniero from the war god :) she didn't wanted to kill him even though he nearly mentally broke her (he did that because he wanted to be needed, absolutely fucked up but he got punished so ok) she agreed so he would be freed from the clutches of that evil war god

Ok, I'm assuming from the wholesome vibes of this manga that this random childhood friend will fold and eventually root for our leads - HOWEVER, I freaking hate these sort of characters who think they are entitled in their anger when the person they like (who's never even been interested in them!!) is dating someone else. Like - GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE, YOU'RE IRRELEVANT!
