You just can't make a manga "shounen-ai," if they don't even end up together, that's misleading and messed up. Daheck. You can't put two characters together with cute moments, revolve the story around this budding romance, make them perfect for one another, then rip them apart, have one of them kind of sad you did so and the other one not give two fcks at all. Fck that fox bastard, celebrating after the mark was removed. I want my years of anticipation for updates back. I want my crushed hopes and dreams restored. I love sensei's work but this one left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm going to go rage elsewhere!
