I've been thinking about this for a few chapters now but something about our mc reminds me of the main girl in gangster and how she was given drugs to keep her from running away, I suspect that our mc might have been given something similar to keep him coming back.

It shows how untalented a writer is when they use a rape seen to start there story, I understand there is a certain type of audience for rape story's and that's why they exist.
