To be honest, the most poorly treated character in this novel eversince the fl has transgressed is Helena. She was very understanding to Eris to the point that she forgave Eris for killing her. Then, she married the dufus of a prince and everyone just looks at her like she's a pushover. The queen thinks she's a puppet, and both the queen and Eris took advantage of her (gave her etiquette lessons so that she would be a suitable bride for the prince) and later on Eris planned to kill her. I mean yeah, the fl wanted to go home so badly (too bad for her) but I'm just waiting for Helena to get better. I don't know what happens to her in the novel, but i hope that she would have the freedom to choose whatever she wants too. I mean, if the fl can do it, then there's a chance that she too can do it. I'm rooting for Helena's happy ending. She deserves a lot.
