I personally have been a victim of someone like this. I asked for consent over and over and they gave it to me over and over and then later on said they only did it because they thought it was “what I wanted” even though what I literally had told them over and OVER that what I ‘wanted’ was whatever they were comfortable with.
I tried so so so hard to hammer home to them that they could say no, draw boundaries, etc and then they still basically ignored that and I was left feeling deeply grossed out because it turned out that all of those times they were forcing themself to do those things even when faced with me trying my best to foster an environment and relationship that was open, honest and CONSENSUAL.
It honestly really fucked me up. What kind of mindfuck is that? Like I now legit have trauma that tells me that asking for consent gently and without coersion can still result in someone LYING TO MY FACE and even telling me how much they want to do it, only for them to later tell me they only did it to please me and they were UNCOMFORTABLE the whole time???
When I pointed out that I asked for consent often and had expressed that they could say no and I would be more than open to communicating SEVERAL TIMES they admitted that what they had done was shitty. The whole situation was all sorts of fucked up.
