This is probably just me overthinking this, but when the seme found the uke in the snow plain, there wasn't any line cuz the snow covered the ground and both of them no longer cared whether they were walking on the right line anymore. I thought this was probably a turning point for them, signifying that the line, which was like the societal values, no longer served as a purpose of the correct path to be a "normal citizen". What really matters is the path to be together, to be finally rid of all worries and be truly free. I thought it was really beautiful and very nice way to think about this
dangg I just found this by accident and WHAT A WILD RIDE. First of all, please go to Webtoon website to read this, the pages aren't cut and you get to support the author by doing so. Second of all, this was a gem, you don't get this many good psychological horror stories like this. The author did a really good job in planning out how the events are linked and played out, creating this suspense that we always get in horror movies. I also kinda like how they explain all the hints and symbolism at the end in the first few chapters, but they don't do that anymore for the rest lol. And finally, I just wanna leave this comment here to get more people's attention for this webtoon cuz it's really worth the hype. I don't get why I only get to see this now lol.

I believe Gale wanted revenge on Simon because he viewed him as a source of pain due to his (Simon's) close resemblance to his father. But as he walked away from his comatose body, he realized that Simon was one of the only trult kind individuals in his life (I think).

there’s a continution of his story in the story “guardian of the lambs”, essentially simon left him with this father and his father would rape him and sell pictures of him anf share him with acquaintances when he was a child. bunch of fucked up shit. besides the resemblance, to him, simon abandoned him at the worst possible moment in his life

one funny thing I realized about the author's works, is that all antagonists are garbage :))
so here we have that sadistic crazy blond who loves ruling, beating and killing people, but back then in Dark Heavens, we have the rapists, the crazy ex-girlfriend, Hasco (the detective) and Gale :)) In other words, as readers, we don't have to be torn apart by sympathizing and feeling bad for the bad guys, the author just makes it easy for us lol.
Joke aside, I have a feeling Gale wasn't in the right mind back then, probably he wasn't able to get his revenge on his father yet, and on top of that, his mother has just committed suicide. That said, he was sure berserk back then :'> is like no amount of horror or violence was enough for this guy. Now, I can feel he's much more stable and serious, even at the beginning of the story, and keeps the job clean and fast lol like a professional. I gotta say, I'm impressed by this development.
