And this is just my guess but maybe it has smt to do with Lezhin ???? I mean a lot has been going on with the scandal about how horrible Lezhin's been treating their authors. So it might because the author of this webtoon's been suffering from the same scandal just like others. It's just a guess cuz I don't know much about this scandal and I only heard it from my friends. But if my guess is right, then there's gonna be a way to help her（/TДT)/ cuz I can't stand watching poor Jinha running around in circle while this plot going nowhere anymore >:(

Actually if you really think about it from Yoseob pov and how smart he is, the only reason he gave her the umbrella was so he'd have an excuse to share an umbrella with his hyung and confuse the heck out of yura. Making her wonder if he likes her or is just playing with her (●'◡'●)ﾉ But great observation

I know that some might not agree with my opinion but I think this is the best ending that this story can have. I mean Souma was gonna confess to the police, which is a righteous thing to do, and just think about all the terrible things he had done :'> Although Souma died, he is and will always be in Masataka's heart. Just like the sakura will continue to wither away and bloom again. Also Masakata has grown and matured a lot from this. He'll continue his path that he chose with confidence and live a happy life for Souma. And just in case you still want to see them together( I do too :'<) , just imagine they' re being reborn in a next life where they can meet and fall in love with each other all over again with a less criticism and prejudice society. And have strong faith that they'll have a happy life there cuz they're meant for each other by fate <3
souma didn't die though from the authors note... and the stab didnt hit any critical parts (unless he loss a lot of blood)
and souma also said in the end that he will not die since he got a will to live now
