Because of what happened to his past relationship, it gave him a lot of trauma and overthinking. Same with Yumin, if both of them wants to start a rs with each other they need to leave the past and start anew.
They cannot be in a relationship if the comfort of love is not present. Hyeondo stayed up all night because of Yumin not responding to his messages, which is a sign of his anxiett like in his past relationship. Yumin still has a baggage on her ex.
