Idk if this is an unpopular opinion but I really don't like how they're still dragging out this Hakamada love traingle thing. She's.not.going.to.fall.for.you
Especially after it took a million years for her to come to terms with her feelings for Naruse after he was persistant AF! She's not going to break up with him and he's not going to break up with her. Idk what Hakamada expects to get out from this cause it's not going to change anything, I was really hoping by now they would agree he should give up with the remaining dignity he has and try to find someone else who #1 is single and #2 actually cares about him

Amen! I was thinking the same but you explained it better! And how selfish of Hakamada, he is just thinking of himself, not of the world of hurt he would cause her with his actions. Everything is about him, not about her happiness, what he is feeling is not love. I wish they would stop with this forced love triangle.
I feel like the mangaka is trying to force Naruse to grow due to opposition. Which in some cases really works (the whole rising to the occasion thing). But why is It over a female?? And his GIRLFRIEND at that. I could see if they weren’t dating already, okay fine. But they are already together so at this point I feel like I’d see better growth from Naruse if he said “I want to focus on basketball. I’m done living my life trying to get you to focus on me”. And maybe that would shock Machida enough to stop entertaining foolish love triangles and grow balls to speak up more
You are SO right, yknow I didn't even look at it from that angle. He claims to be in love with Yuki but he's not thinking about her and her feelings at all. Especially since she's already rejected him in a very respectful way. How is he not seeing that he's making her immensely uncomfortable!! And if he knows her character well (which tbh at this point he should) he already knows she'd never leave Naruse. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Aha YES! I see your point and honestly you might be right about that, we've also seen (significant) character growth in Machida but as you said, it really isn't enough at this point. She needs to stand up for herself!! She already rejected him once, she needs to sit down, have a one on one and lay down the law. Honestly tho, I feel like Naruse has been the most mature of them all, he says what he wants to say and isn't shy about it, he's never afraid to tell Machida how he feels about her and he always tries his best. Idk where this is going anymore... OTL
Yeah I mean when it comes to really being open and honest it’s definitelt Naruse. It’s like Machida and Hakamada are still in the process of growing but I don’t like that they’re using shou to do It. Machida is trying to grow “as a woman” instead of the caring motherly role she plays to everyone and Hakamada is trying to grow into his own person but why is everything at the consequence of Naruse? I hate It. He’s supposed to be a MC and yet his growth is always a sideline or a result of a clash from this stupid love triangle and I hate Ittttt

Okay first of all, I love this manga
Yoshino is a BAMFF and ahh thats so refreshing for a female protag
and second, i feel like kirishima is a lot more complicated than we think, i also think i can be looking into this too deeply cause its true he has a lot of violent tendancies and some uh weird fetishes but that conversation he had with the Somei head is getting to me...
I feel like part of his act is a sorta facade hes exagerating on purpose so yoshino wont fall for him. Say what you will but I ship the main leads together, it still seems early on but I think they're going to adapt characteristics from each other, kirishima migh act a bit more humane and yoshino might have a hidden twisted side as well, who knows
i dont like how kirishima sleeps around tho, h u g e turnoff, wish he'd stop tbh
