In general I think there are less placeholders than there was like 8-ish months ago (I think mangago changed sm in their uploading restrictions), but they are defos still around with most of them being on less popular manhwa's and especially on manhwa's who's uploaders like to wait a few days after the raws.
I defos would recommend reading the novel though if you really can't wait

don't fall for the spoilers. I read the whole novel in Korean, and Jun definitely didn't take a year off. Even though the main story isn't romantic in the way y'all are used to, it's got this crazy pull. Both of them have their own kinda romance going on. The romance you’re craving will hit hard in the uni arc. Unlike other manhwa, where the MC’s all passive about feelings, Jun’s got this subtle obsession with Yohan. They’re legit wild for each other.
