I already made my own ending version of this manga. In my mind, they did not end up together. Wataru has moved on with someone else. Someone who is proud to tell everyone that he is in love with Wataru! In my mind, Soma was left hopeless and regretful for not being honest and not being fair with Wataru. Wataru found a job and is living with his lover who loves him so much and he loves back. While Some is still stuck with the thought that maybe he could have been that "lover Wataru loves" if he was not an asshole. And he cries a river whenever he goes home after meeting uo with his "friend" Wataru with the boyfriend. And all he could do is pretend to be okay with everything that has been going on ever since Wataru ended their "fwb" set up while in fact he is still in love with Wataru but went along with the it because he knew he had moved on and is in love with someone else now and that he has long blown his chance with Wataru.
Yeah. That was the ending I wanted.

Off topic guys. I kept searching for a manga and can't find it. I knew I read it here back then. The story goes like this, the MC is an heir to a Florist family and the ML is like a prince in an arabian country. When the MC locked himself in his own room, there was a big mirror in front of him. Can't remember what exactly happened, but he was able to use that mirror as a door to teleport to the ML's location. They fell in love and so on. And at the end he had to leave the ML behind and broke the mirror. Then the ML after few months or years, he went to Japan and visited MC's floral exibition and proposed marriage to the MC in front of everyone.
