My theory is that it's the negative energy of MC staying all the time with ML. At chapter 9, he wondered why ML never got tired despite being "attatched" to him like when he did to Nana. I'm guessing this is what happens when things built up overtime.

I really love this story and the characters, but their first time feels so weird and out of place. I mean the story progression is so nice up until ch.9, good pace, feels natural, but then *BAM*, səx, and the fact that is even Aoi's first time with a man, makes it feel even more rushed and weird.
I wish the author had used a little more slow burn here, making them warm up to one another, a touch of sexual tension, before getting physical... Welp I guess. It still remains one of my favourite classic yaoi as of late.
