I really love this story and the characters, but their first time feels so weird and out of place. I mean the story progression is so nice up until ch.9, good pace, feels natural, but then *BAM*, səx, and the fact that is even Aoi's first time with a man, makes it feel even more rushed and weird.
I wish the author had used a little more slow burn here, making them warm up to one another, a touch of sexual tension, before getting physical... Welp I guess. It still remains one of my favourite classic yaoi as of late.

The thing that pisses me off the most is that JK seems to be able to act politely (kinda) and reasonably (kinda) with anybody except Dan.
He can be a smooth talker with whomever he wants to obtain something from, but with Dan is just like everything is obviously a given to him: "you're gonna work with me" "you're gonna give me your body", with no diplomacy or negotiation.
I really despise him as a character, he's written exactly to be a dick just to Dan.
I'm really hoping he's just putting on an act to get a chance at stabbing that lunatic mf.
