Idk why everyonein the comment section said that Doctor Ai is annoying. I think he didnt want them to meet because hes afraid that Zhishu condition will get worse because based on Jiang attitude during the day he was brought away by the police, i think he will scream at Zhishu and ask for forgiveness. Doctor Ai know this quite well that Zhishu doesnt have much time in the world so he tried to not make him suffer more. He knew, yet does anyone think he wanted to believe that. He is a doctor. In my opinion, he is so caring to the point it become annoying but for me i think that is so normal. It's heartbreaking to even imagine that your loved ones is sick and will gone soon. Knowing the fact, you wanna do everything to make him happy.
