i think the reason alex being a total ass hole not putting me off the story is that at the end of the day DG is actually the one in control (even if he doesn't realise it) alex is the one who needs him

in comparison to most of the bl i've read this felt really romantic, like they genuinely loved for each other unlike the manipulative trope that's common in yaoi.
