I'm actually speechless at how bad the Miyai backstory was. I thought they were going to do the whole "wait til I'm an adult" thing (which would still have been gross) but this was so much more shameless.
Having multiple side characters, including Miyai's mother, justify the relationship is crazy. Just bc you have a character say "it's okay, we know you're not a pedophile!" doesn't suddenly make the guy whose thinking of dating a MIDDLE SCHOOLER not a pedophile.
I already hated this trope but I love this series so I really wanted to hope that the author would do something decent with it. But the way they tried to frame this was actually kind of disgusting. Miyai being the one who pursued the teacher, being the one who tops and being "mature for his age" doesn't change a damn thing, it's still pedophilia.
If they kept everything the same but changed the strange dynamic I'd be super into this
