In more traditional suits, 1) the trousers go up to the natural waistline 2) they are usually worn with braces so no belt bulk 3) the waistband is supposed to be covered with a waistcoat(uk)/vest(us) bc that is designed to elongate the torso and the hemline goes slightly lower in front and goes up toward the side seams for easy pocket access 4) as such, without the jacket, we should see 90-95% of the lower body (hip&crotch area) which translates to full view of the bakery at the back 5)with jacket, all that jazz should be covered by about 2/3 (look that up ig) 6) but we mustn't forget the vest is actually short but tries to fool you by looking longer in the front. Don't draw it too long. It's about torso length.
For young master, usually irl, one would just wear the vest inside his own residence while working and in private. Jacket is for formal and public use. Public decency. (Apparently, without jacket and no vest it's almost naked, to overexaggerate. Lol) Anyway, with the jacket drawn, his bakery shouldn't be very much visible at all.
TLDR; VEST IS TORSO LONG. IF DRAWN TOO LONG, BUTT SAGS. SUIT JACKET COVERS HIPS=BAKERY BARELY VISIBLE.
