I just read the novel and i actually like it, yeah wooyeon is freakin toxic but its because he has a condition that explaine his action and he tried to understand how his feelings about inseob i think thats the reason why hes different from other toxic seme that i've read. Also i will never forget the jeju island nightmare

Big bro is more traumatized than Erik. Hence the resentment, for his little brother. Their mom died after Erik was born. As the eldest, he had a sense of responsibility for his little brother. So he would take all of the beatings. He protected Erik from their father, always telling him to run. He would stay to be the assholes punching bag, so he wouldn't take it out in Erik. I think the resentment that he felt towards Erik, is very justifiable. I don't like how Erik just abandoned him like that. Not even caring that he was drowning in debt, or that he also had trauma. Erik's trauma, is seeing people arguing & fighting. The father didn't actually beat Erik, because big bro would always step in as a shield. His big bro took all the beatings, took care of him financially, & told him to go to school, not work. I don't think he minded gay people. The hate & resentment, stems back to their abusive father. He would zero in on Erik, because Erik was gay. Big bro took the beatings from his irate father. In other words, he started seeing Erik's sexual preference, as the reason for their fathers attacks. The big bro deserved a happy ending too. I mean, he was a bit violent a with Erik. But that's how they grew up
