Glad to see I'm not the only one completely over that kind of reaction, lol. I'm sure this is coming from issues in his own past we don't know about and it's coming from "a place of concern," but he's constantly infantalizing her and treating her with condescention. He doesn't respect her and it's infuriating--I'm so glad that as the story progressed Maxi got fed up with his shit and isn't taking it lying down (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Just finished reading this…wow. Sobbed so much when Katherine died :( and was so scared that either one of them would die too. But I loved reading this, I’m glad it was a happy ending at least, beautiful story.
