Yeah, I hear you! It was the same with another novel turned manhwa - the novel was so much better. Unfortunately, this is typical of most webtoons and there's really just (literally) a handful that are comparable to hand drawn manga.
This is why I prefer hand-drawn manga or manhwa. Just read a Zariya manga and you'll know what I mean

Yoooo so true… I understand different medium means different approach, but still unfortunate. If the novel is good, you can create the visualization in your head with just lines of sentences. This manhwa’s original novel is one of them, so well-written. This webtoon is probably one of the project that has classic problem, limited manpower and tight schedule idk really. Btw I’m also a fan of Zariya!!
