We're introduced to Haesoo and his mom's relationship when he's a teenager. The most anger we ever see from her (outside of the pseudo incest) is when he's on his phone at the dinner table when she's meeting with her future husband and his son. Other than that, she's been the typical mother architype.

And where did she ever say she'd stop loving her son? Is that something a mother would say when she's the one that's been trying to communicate with him this whole time? All the while, he's been giving her the cold shoulder and putting his own feelings as truth and shutting her out. Shit, she's better than me.

Yeah, Haesoo is an adult and should understand that as an adult you have to communicate.

since u need quotes and clearly skimmed through chapter 82, she said: “I want to keep loving you. So please, help me do that.” The word “want” implies there’s a chance she won’t, and asking Haesoo to do as she asks puts conditions on her love. I never said she stopped loving her son completely, but she made it very clear that she would under the right conditions.

I was going to ask if you were one of those people that still considered Joowon toxic even as of recently, but I saved time & read through your past replies instead and well, I guess I’m not surprised by the double standard.

If by your definition Joowon is toxic then haesoo’s mother certainly is too. If you’re trying to argue that haesoo’s mother can repair their relationship via proper communication, then that’s also a viable option for Joowon.

And yes, Joowon is toxic as hell too and he still hasn't changed. We just haven't seen him interact with Haesoo and just the appearance break has people thinking otherwise. It's the same thing celebrities do, take a media break and all of a sudden they've changed, they get jobs, their image in repaired...until they do the same shit.

Dude! For real and you said it! That Yahwi needs to be dropped and not be thought about from here on out ASAP! You can’t blame the main character, Jooin, for loving another person but I had hoped that he should have realized sooner that Yahwi as a “lover” would be a huge fuc**** mistake! And he isn’t even a good sunbae and I’m so frustrated and upsetting thing is that those other hoobaes are such bullies that Yahwi still chooses to hangout with them. I don’t care about his character at this point and I just want Jooin to move forward and hope the other bullies will get punished for having his USB drive that was stolen and somehow came into Yahwi’s possession afterwards as if Jooin isn’t going to know who took it in the first place. He needs to cut off the toxic people surrounding him and still talk to and be open to the limited friend(s) he has like the one in the recent chapter. I’m waiting to see who Cain really is and hopefully have some kind of background to go on to see if he really will care for Jooin.
