Only at Ch.10 but this story's dark enough that I can't enjoy any of the fluff w/ a peace of mind. What I def know is that MC has no such thing as a curse that hurts the people who like/are close to him+that his bro is a manipulative creep. The way people describe the novel, it seems it was once a quality story that got changed in the worst ways? Why kill the old man if that never happened in the novel, proceed to not even acknowledge the poor man's death nor even seek the slightest justice for the poor man? Why make the reader enraged+then do nothing?? Whoever's doing this adaptation wants it to fail. If that's not bad enough, Asura's tl quality has been declining. Lots of uncleaned bubbles+even Ch.22 had wrong panels/pgs. DNF?

Ig I dropped this cause I've been putting it off long enough now. It's a good story but it made me very uncomfortable+sometimes rather disgusted. The way ML treated MC before he knew MC was MC+the way he pointedly lusted over MC's body after knowing it's not MC's body (them sex scenes were some gross torture), he just gives me the ick+it never went away. ogMC's abuse+state were hard enough to stomach, but at least it ends+w/ revenge/healing so the plot's good. ML stays forever. Ew.

Tbf, the story's a letdown aot all the hype. The pacing+flow are bad, making it disjointed+confusing. The chicken-and-duck convos, pull-and-tug, infinite lies+omissions, selective lacking memories+misunderstandings of 2 idiots that refuse to say what they mean/want (other than in bed), on top of the corporate slave grind+stress, are just abundantly annoying. However, their dynamics+chemistry (again, mostly in bed) are interesting so I finally know what readers were praising, lol.

I think MC's super cute+adorable. Love him to death, so I just get this really bad sinking feeling whenever he feels low/undeserving+lets himself be manipulated into thinking ML is so great (spoiler: he's not) and that what he's feeling is love (spoiler: it's not). I feel so sad for him that I can't even shut off my brain to read this. I even went so far as to ignore why the hell a wealthy CEO would be living in a sharehouse, but I can't endure further w/ MC being exploited+gaslit like this.
