Sometimes it's difficult to tell from a drawing but these characters are 18-20 more or less, they are teens, not even young adults and most of their problems were forced by abusive adults... Despite the look, It's a very deep and dark plot.

we have to remember something important about the culture represented in the story, discipline in other parts of the planet is waaay different than in america or europe (well, I'm assuming you're american, sorry about that), just mentioning that since this is a manhwa
I'm from Southeast Asia and yes, for us and our parents the definition of discipline is a little different from the west, but beating your child with a golf club is still physical assault and a punishable offence.

well, what I was trying to remark here (I probably failed there...lol) is that this is a manhwa so everything happening here is fiction, I think no one gives a damn about what happens there since, at the end of the day, there's no real damage provoked to anyone, I'm not trying to justify the actions represented here as discipline but hey, is a manhwa still ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Not saying I’m being ungrateful but in almost every comic a hiatus appears at the most important moments like its their to torture us.
And I never said it was easy, but ya know it would be different if it was like a monotone like part but it’s always the climax where the “problem” occurs it seems sus, that’s all I’m thinking.
Never said it’s what I believe in a case like this, it’s an understandable reason why a break is needed but it happens so often I get the feeling of like I’m being bullshitted.

What you said was somehow true however In a nether manga I’ve read, the alfa that have already bet an omega got a reaction by the sent of another omega sent, I believe the manga was called “Tadaima okareri”, and there’s something else I understood, the omega keep taking medicine if they don’t have an alfa partner because his heat times random and the heat sometimes comes suddenly when an omega meet an alfa however when omegas got a partner they stop taking medicine because their heat comes in known times so they can ovoid accident and they wont get a reaction when they meet another alfa.
Don’t know, that what I’ve read, maybe every story has different actions, try reading more stuff and make sure.
So thats why they talk about the Omega being in danger or having to be careful? They can be attacked for their scent? And I now understand why he made such a big deal about the bite, so the other one was trying to protect him? How could the girl bite him again? Shouldnt it be she couldnt be atracted to the omega?

They will become a pair (mates) only if the alpha bites the omega during his heat, then the mark becomes permanent. Otherwise the mark would fade away.
