it's really refreshing for me to read something like this esp i just started reading shoujo comics! but i'll stop reading this esp when i learned that the duke still have love interest, hate me or what but i kinda want this story to be just about the daughter-dad pair sorry!

I mean, his love interest regressing after she met an unfortunate death is one of the main things we knew from the begining. It’s also why Leo was super depressed a few chapters before or after the end of season 1, because it’s around the time where the original FL already regressed and she was all on her own with no one to help her. Leo will continue to grow and have her own story and love interest as well.
There's already so many stories where you have that though? Sure, many also have brothers included, but imo it's so much rarer for a fmc in a childcare novel to have another parental figure outside of a father. For me, this story is refreshing specifically because I know Leo will be able to have another parental figure to love and dote on her.
Besides, I'm tired of all the toxic female relationships these stories seem to be obsessed with. I'd love to have more stories with female parental figures for the fmc.

I've been reading this story for literal years, known about the duke having a romantic interest from the start, and I honestly think we still have a while to go before we get anywhere with it. It's not going to be sudden, nor is it going to feel forced. I haven't read the novel so I can't speak from there, but I have trust in what I've seen so far.

Yeah, especially because of how he grew up, having someone who loves him romantically is something I actually wished for him. As long as that person can parent Leonia the way she deserves and understand the depth of her bond with the Duke, I’ve got no issues.
I stopped reading the novel just as she first appeared in it because I wanted to wait until she’s drawn in the webtoon to have the mental picture as I read it in the light novel.
