I think he def did like her and as the others said it feels like mc is replacement since the resemblance is uncanny. Regardless of whether someone has a type or not it’s uncomfortable to know u look like ur partners ex as it can be hard to tell if they rly like u or if ur just a lookalike rebound

Yall are just dramatic and assume nothing between a male and female can be platonic if anything they could be similar in appearance because what if they’re long lost siblings his mom did leave as a baby and we never got to know more about that even if he did like her this was YEARS ago in high school thinking a grown ass man still has feelings for someone he could’ve possibly liked when he was like 15 is so stupid and she’s married so what more can come of the situation??? He might’ve even viewed her as a big sister seeing that he doesn’t have close relationships with his family and she was the only person in his life that kept trying to have a relationship with him yall need to start thinking logically and critically
