dare i say every one of kou's actions are valid,the love he has for futaba is just so pure, flawed?yes, but he is so willing to be the better version of himself, he is putting in a effort to grow as a person leave behind his past, putting in an effort to get out of despair just to be with her, isn't that amazing,, i sure would like to be loved like that once in my life. yall keep bitching about him and then give chances to terrible and questionable men in real life. or maybe you don't really have the emotional capacity to understand the complexicity of real human like characters and just like reading delusional stuffs ,,and i wish i could describe it better how i feel about them but it's 4am and my brain is quite dysfunctioning so i'll leave it here
this was my very first manga i've read and this is how i started my manga/manhwa/manhua reading journey and still this is my most favourite one to this day, i came to reread because my titok was suddenly bombarded with it,, and i missed them so much. I feel like no one gets this manga like i do,,,it is connected to my heart and soul and to my very existense,,i love it so much ,,i have read so many masterpieces over the years but nothing compares to this

... no ok jokes aside, it depends on your level of endurance. If you can stand waiting 3+ years for the remake to catch up I 100% recommend you read the original as well, because I personally liked it as a whole SO much (the latter part is even better in my opinion) that I was able to wait 7+ years for the remake, which is extremely rare for me. If however you don't think you can wait years, it's better to just read the remake (which is MUUUCH better in terms of art and I assume will probably be a bit better in terms of plot development because the author got much better in the meantime) that is going to update regularly
