after reading this I dont really understand the plot twist though->
if uke was adopted when seme was abducted... why did neither of them remember that? I mean it's not like they were infants? Iwas really confused tho so i might have missed something
Why would the Uke remember that? He was adopted after the Seme was abducted and it doesn't seem like he was there during the event until after it was already done. Seme also was young and could have been traumatized. Many people who have trauma have their memories placed in their subconscious and are not able to recall the traumatized memory, especially children at a young age. Also, majority of people don't remember things past the age of 3 so anything between birth to age 3 is very difficult to remember as an adult. I personally can't remember any childhood memories from before I was in kindergarten which must have been age 4 to 6 or so and although those memories are gone or difficult to retain, people still remember the overall feeling they experienced in childhood (for example, whether it was a happy or sad childhood) and many retain any fears or body language learned from it. If someone tells you that they can remember something from a young age, it's most likely something they heard from a parent or other relative and then they stored it into their brain as their own memory so although you can recall the information, you may have difficulty recalling the exact moment it happened and it'll seem hazy, there will be no images associated with it, or it's likely that someone can also recreate the memory based off the story (especially true for someone who has seen photos of it or have the imagination to recreate it with their own made-up images). Psychology, man. It's very useful in real life, lol.
I think Haruka knew he was adopted. Horuma was young and traumatized from his kidnapping. It makes sense he wouldn't remember
what did the author think that was too much fluff? so they added that lil side story at the end to crush our hearts?!
