honestly it's a pretty okay story, and the art usually isn't too bad either - I've read and seen worse. It's just... the times when the art depicts her with cat ears or one of those triangle-teeth, something in me cringes too hard to continue. IDK what is it about that type of art - maybe because it's such a 13yr old artist from tumblr core, but I just can't with it.
I'm just wondering how long will it take for ML to find out his real identity... on one hand mc is sooo different (regarding appearance) that it shouldn't be a quick and easy acceptance, but on the other hand I hate how drawn out things like these can end up being... Any spoilers are welcome!

honestly, I think it's good if Jerry tells Ilya his thoughts about Ilya's feelings etc. I hope nothing interrupts that. Then we can finally move on to a stage where Ilya (hopefully) starts debunking those misunderstandings.

In chapter 2 the glimpse of the newspaper ad states that his "little brother" is a snake.
I agree with the folks saying that the ML is the missing "little brother", but this does bring up some questions:
If you're a snake and you left behind a dried snake penis...

2. Will it not cause awkwardness down the line in future if your partner sees your penis as an ingredient?

Eager to read the different pov, but meanwhile: I LOVE the writing, and the portrayal of the red flags all over this chapter - it's so believable because that's exactly how they can be IRL. MC thinks what he's being told is cute and romantic because 1. he's not taking what he's hearing TOO seriously, and 2. he's looking at everything through very rose tinted glasses. In reality, this is exactly the kind of conversation one goes back to wondering how the hell did they not pick up on the warning signs (moving in together quickly when one partner has much more financial security and is generally more dominant).
Anyway, I'm curious to see if the ML will develop into a red flag (I can see him becoming more controlling and possessive as well), or if it will actually be smooth sailing from here.
between "unky" and "the misunderstanding is getting swollen", i don't even know for how much longer I can hang on The art is good, and the story is nice! And honestly the translation isn't the WORST, just has some funny phrases that I can't get over.
