Yes... it was the first recorded ajin- in africa.... but the one in the 1st anime episode is Sato. Remember the memory exchange with kei? And he was part pf the army

Haha the translator notes at the ends of vol. 8 were really funny. It was a nice little touch.
Anywho, I really wish I bookmarked all of the side stories so that I could piece stuff together. But I love this manga, its so interesting!! It creeped me out at first, but I was hooked. Its soooo interesting.
