Because my real question is how the guy got past the two (Duke and Duchess) when his disposition changed this much. Where's the background check, the guarantors, etc. Considering there is a trial period of three days, a lot of damage can happen- knowing this story, he'll likely come around. But I don't actually want that to be the case, because this story features the family of three. Our child protagonist came out well-rounded. I hope there is enough development or he comes out as irredeemable. Most other child rofan series come out too fluffy because the world ends up revolving around a character.
