one thing I’ll always appreciate about this FL is that she doesn’t want to make any long term decisions in someone else’s body. obviously she doesn’t know the OG soul’s exact wishes and FL has her own goals, but at least FL is considering the OG soul
not exactly the right thing to say for that scene tho (she’s clearly using the OG soul as a way to avoid making a personal choice lol) but I’ll still say it

I agree, besides how could there be anything wrong with her pesistence in seeing her current body as an accidental "temporary borrowing," if she wants to she herself as different from the body-stealing Tower Master (who uses stolen bodies while getting rid of the original owners? Moreover, she was even isekai'd once in her original body, the first time around, so who can blame her for holding onto the hope of returning, if not to her original world, then at least to her original body?

yes especially that! it sets up another contrasting dynamic between the Tower Master and the FL in a literary sense: one that even disregards a person's ownership over their body, ignoring their wishes for its own goals. meanwhile, the FL still aims to respect the OG soul even though she's been tossed into another world with some BS demands after fighting for years on end
and her respect to OG Renee (that's her name right?) also stems from being in a similar position that was created BECAUSE OF the Tower Master! man I like this perspective you noticed, creates another layer to the story
the immediate "huh" I let out when he said fruits soaked in sunlight??? like aye, me too bro but like the black hair and red eyes... the supposed "big bad" of the world...
mb brah, don't judge a book by its cover or something like that ig
