Story was a solid 9/10 on its own, but then the sprinkle of Sexy Old Man Yaoi at the end pushed it to a 20/10. Good stuff, good stuff.

So this story wants to highlight how unrealistic most BL is, and also how different fantasy expectations of sex are from the real deal, yet continues to make “great BL sex” the man focus and goal of the story. We’re supposed to actually root for this shallow little sh*t? Who pressured the seme to be his boyfriend by pitching an immature fit in a public cafe without even knowing him or (even caring to get to know him since he pouts on every date) then acts surprised when they have no chemistry and the sex doesn’t go well. DUH. And the seme is just completely dragged along, what does he even see in this kid? What did he fall in love with? His selfishness? Not even the friends are good people. Both the girl and the coworker are shallow pieces of sh*t, the only somewhat decent one here is the seme but he’s a pushover. I feel like this story wanted to have a real lesson, but it didn’t get though at all.
