It’s infuriating how realistically the author portrays the seme’s manipulative behavior. The way Kang spins everything to make it look like the other person’s overreacting, or how he picks out certain irrelevant things in people’s replies so they get confused and lose focus during an argument. Even the way he constantly tricks the other guy into thinking something was his idea, when he was actually the one who brought it up first- Gaaaah! It makes my skin crawl. Being jealous of someone you love is tough, man. You want to be happy for them and support their wins, but at the same time all you can focus on is how much YOU haven’t accomplished yet. Being around them becomes more painful than enjoyable, and you also become afraid that your pessimism will rub off on them/ ruin the relationship, so you start to distance yourself. Sucks big time.
