The premise has potential, but the actual execution of the story was very clunky and awkward. Definitely feels like the first/ incomplete draft of what could have been a really good work.
Shame this is still one of the only “popular” BL titles with a switch dynamic. Switch/ reverse couples are so common in queer relationships yet it’s still treated as super rare in a lot of fiction spaces. Sucks

Well, finally got to chapter 11, the end. Honestly, I don’t know if it was worth it? Was eleven chapters really needed to tell a story like this? It kind of feels like we’re still right back to where we started. Did anything even change, really? I mean, if seme is happy with this kind of arrangment, then good for him, but I don’t see how a relationship like this one could be fulfilling at all. Giving more than receiving, putting in effort, with little reciprocation in effort or interest. But the uke is rearing to go when it’s time to get f*cked though. Hey, maybe a sweet, healthy ending wasn’t the point of this one, but in that case I’d like to know what the point actually was. All I know is if I’m excited for a date and trying to connect with you, and you tell me to stfu because you’re trying to read a book, the coffee is probably going on your head.
