every single damn chapter feels like "now they're gonna be ripped apart from each other" i can't go through a single chapter without bawling my eyes like i can't blame anyone of them because both of them were in a tough position. i genuinely feel so bad for the mc cause imagine you spent a whole summer with this old man laughing & eating together but were not allowed to be with him when he was dying & when you finally was gonna see him you get in an accident & the guy you started feeling something for goes in the comma while trying save you. all this happening when your mother was in hospital, you had to pay bills & your younger brother was in school. and oh lord don't even make me begin on the ml
goddd the misogyny in the comment section after reading such a cute manga is so tiring. yeah ririko wasn't the best mother but like so what??? it was all for the sake of the plot. moreover she knew none of them are father & the real one is the yakuza guy and sge obviously didn't want megumo to live in that sort of world. and grandma is right lol. even if none of them turned out to be the father, the father in question is still responsible for the child. and she /is/ getting old. and about megumo, she's a kid ffs. with a dead mother who used to neglect her while she was alive and no other parental figure in life. give that kid a break lawd.
Ririrko wasn't just "not the best mother". She was a bad mother all around. Imagine Touma and Sentarou were shitty perverts? Gurl was beyond irresponsible in her life. She was an adult, but seemed to have the maturity of a child. Meguru's life would have gone bad to worse if things didn't end up going in her favor. I don't condone name calling her, but the criticisms towards her are all very valid. Even if something is done for the sake of the plot, it doesn't make the characters' choices any less shitty.
Honestly can we even call her a mother? The only time she was present in Megu's life is giving birth to her. Besides, Ririko wasn't a child when she had Megu, she was old enough to know what she did was bad but would still do it anyway (her words, not mine). So it isn't misogyny, it's just stating the facts.
Secondly, grandma isn't in the right either. I know it's for the sake of the plot but you're telling me it's ok to just go with the flow of some half-baked will? She's got no other relatives out there? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. She was eager to wash her hands of Megu just as Ririko did. And no DNA test my ass. If I loved a child enough, I would never haphazardly leave such a young child with two adults I knew nothing about. Grandma may not have been the main villain but she sure wasn't a saint either.
im not a big fan of omegaverse in general and im usually very skeptical to read them but lord this one is so fucking cute and just heartwarming idk. like the characters are handled so nicely. hazuki naoto both got insecurities and they try their best to deal with them. + the kids are so adorable ╥﹏╥ almost made me want to have kids too lmao
idk why people say that "jiho easily forgave hyunee but not yoowan" because yoowan was still at fault. was his environment and parenting played a big role in what he did?? yes it did. but it's not an excuse for what he did. what hyunee did was unintentional and you cannot blame his actions for the lack of yoowan's actions. even if he was too scared to admit in front of everyone that he wasn't the one who wrote the poem he still didn't do ANYTHING to clear the misunderstanding/air b/w him & jiho. in fact even when he was "apologizing" he didn't really apologize but asked jiho to forgive him or forget about past because jiho forgave hyunee. yall are annoying af because you are excusing his lack of actions to make up for what he did on hyunee & jiho.
yall in the comment section are annoying af. the story is going very well and not once did the author disappointed me. getting twisted over a new "ship" that we don't even know will take place or not. and tbh i don't even see any problem with the TM and his disciple being a couple (tho i believe it will likely happen) since the TM is literally an immortal. like he's son of a god for ffs. i loved the direction author took, explaining where the magic first came from, how the kingdom recieved the blessing, dismantling the monarchy and all.

SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP JUST KILL ME WTF THIS WAS SO CUTE
