first of all: AMAZING ARTWORK. everyone is so fucking hot i'm gonna die from gooning. second of all: i can't take the name METATRON seriously, like what went though the author's mind when they gave the literal mc(?)/ml(?) that name. at least they compensated him w the looks bc i swear, hands down he's the hottest, most gorgeous character in the series.

despite, it being obvious that this manhua has no coherent plot, as well as acc to other users who claim that's the reason why the title's "Do As You Please", imma try to make sense of what's actually given to us/ decipher the author's vision lmao:

so, not to everyone's surprise this story is set in a biblical fantasy of demons, angels and the divine realm.w the classic yet cliche "seme turned uke" trope, we have one of our leads, the playboy manwhore STUNNING ELEGANT RAVISHING EXQUISITE white haired- green eyed- tanned bastion of ethereal angelic beauty, LORD METATRON, a super influential high ranking angel (prob an archangel) who quite literally loves to fuck around. and on the other hand we've got our mommy issues red haired "demon" seme named Mammon, who switches around in child and adult form (i swear it's weirder than it sounds, gives me a huge ick everytime)

(btw, lucifer and the others dukes of hell are still angels here. gehenna aka hell, does not have a definite ruler i think, the demons there just exist. in the present timeline, mammon serves as the guardian of hell. oh and apparently GOD is MIA)

anyways, the plot, if we can even call that, starts w a bet b/w archangel Gabriel and lord metatron that if metatron can make mammon fall in love w him, he'd (gabriel) give metatron his heart, body and soul or sum shit. idk why, maybe metatron got hots for gabe, nothing of that aspect has been revealed yet. then all of the shit you've read occuring in the present timeline happens. it is interesting to note that, it's shown that gabe has only proposed the bet due to some political game that's happening in the sidelines. he's under allegiance w Lucifer (deemed ruler of heaven in GOD's absence) who himself is in a political struggle against archangel Michael. i think, they (luce and gabe) need metatron's support to continue ruling heaven.

these recent chps focus more on the past and snippets of the future, we come to know that mammon was actually a snake (metatron's pet), transformed into a "false angel" by Lilith (who's also a super influential and powerful being in this universe). that's how he gains a human-like body and angel wings, but he's only an imitation and as such, does not have any real angelic powers bc he's a literal knock off. that's why metatron had to impart some of his powers to him temporarily inorder to defend himself and awaken his "demonic powers" per se. ah, it also seems that lucifer too had a role to play in mammon's "creation". as for whether metatron has the knowledge of all of this, we dk yet. although it has been implied imo

in regards to the future, we just have scenes of metatron and mammon having hate sex bruh. as well as one panel of mammon interacting w lilith but everything else still remain very unclear. i think this is it, tell me if i missed anything important, hopefully as more chps release, the more the plot will progress.
