The ignorant kid deserved what he got because if the twins hadn't shown up, something worse would've occurred. However, at the end of the day, he is a kid. That way of punishing him isn't going to reinforce anything different. It's just going to reinforce his hatred toward her. It totally ignores the kid's side. Rather than punish in a way that doesnt do anything to help the situation which only prolongs the issue of the problem, punishing the kid in a way to realize his problem and small minded viewpoint would be better. When the Grandfather issued the punishment, he was full on mad at the two. He was making decisions with bias from his emotions. The Grandfather fails to see how his grandson will react to his punishment and instead focuses his attention on firentia wholeheartedly, which is great for her since we all love her. But ig this is what it is. The Grandfather couldn't even raise his first son right. Idk why i bothered to write this since ill probably get a lot of disagrees... eh, i already wrote it. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I dont think its as much of a problem of incest as everyone thinks. . . IMO Eugene and Hari never looked at each other as siblings. I always felt like it was more like friends who had a mutual understanding of their legal positions and of the face they had to keep up to the people around them. Heck, they didn't even grow up by each others' side as siblings. However, the fact that Hari looked similar enough to their dead sister IS weird. If that's ur problem, I get it. But if it's the "but they grew up like siblings" argument, I disagree ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Fk, i love this so much !!
