The way the author has portrayed the family dynamic is on point. You crave your parents approval even if they are toxic, even if it makes you kill your true personality. And they do care in like their own twisted way.
Bound by blood, bruised by it too.
Don't get involved with dickheads like yongun. You'll be happier single.
That panel when taeju yells at the crybaby for running on the stairs and him doing it anyway is so relatable. I have a younger brother and that is my daily life lol
I get it okay. They went from sorta-maybe-in-love to like wanting to hate eachother but can't and now they've more or less admited to loving eachother. Which is progress okay. I give you that.
But it takes AGES to update. And they are stuck in ONE room for a month or more? Like where's the intrigue? Where's the border conflict? And this could've been sprinkled in between those chapters you know. Like this doesn't have to be this all chunk of r*pe-love confession all together. Because in the grand scheme of things - we know this doesn't matter. It will not their final confession scene. And we know already they love eachother since before certain chapters? And mark my words this exact sequence of events will happen later on too.
And I don't really like him, because he is pretty much useless as a policeman. But this is just.. weird. Like I get being introverted and not being explicit about your feelings - but Mokhwa doesn't seem interested at all. He is happy in his little flower shop.
Nakwon is leading himself on and getting hurt because of his own expectations. I don't see any chemistry between them. Seriously guys just break up. Or more like Nakwon just leave him be.
He has features of both Haesung and Dojin. And yet he isn't too feminine. Sure he lookes pretty, but he has that alpha physique. Love the Relationship with his mom.
Does Leewon actually love him? Like he did just want to break up with Caesar before he slit his throat. He keeps saying that he doesn't like Caesar. And while Caesar's love/obsession is PRETTY obvious, I don't feel any affection from Leewon - atleast in the recent chapters, (I read the story a long time ago so I might have forgotten) especially not in the Side Stories.
So like is it a love story anymore? I don't get why the author is dragging it out in such a tangent. At this point, I wouldn't blame Leewon if he went back to Korea just to get away from Caesar, his over dramatic father and adoptive brother with daddy issues.
He knows from this point on. Wooyeon's number was already saved in Dohyun's phone. He had an inkling since the beginning but he is sure now.
I liked their sex scenes in the beginning but now it's just zero communication, joon getting in some whole new trouble at school, then doha tries to help but ends up fucking all night and repeat.
No actual development since season 2. S1 was one of cutest manhwas I had read. What happened to the writing. Joon and doha don't seem like best friends anymore too. They barely communicate
I am out. Love triangle. Replacement for unrequited love. Character development for the rapist arc. Don't like either of them.
There conversations are so damn boring that I skipped 80% of this chapter. They have ZERO chemistry. Why am I reading this manhwa.
People who've read the novel - please spoil this for me. Does it get better?
Is it worth the 46+ chapters read? Love triangle or something worse?
Feel free to drop spoilers.
But JJ is no better. He knows that Leo is overly dependent on him. So cutting him off with no explanation is EQUALLY TOXIC. He isn't breaking up, he is running away. Like he needs to end this properly, even for his own sake.
And now Leo is atleast trying. It would have taken some inner searching to confront JJ. JJ needs to take SOME responsibility here. Why am I reading this again.
It ain't gonna be a happy ending. If they stay together its bad, if they don't, its still bad. It's a train wreck and I can't look away.
