i just read the raws, and the story is getting somewhere? the slowburn is so real, genuinely tortured myself by reading before it finished

- in present time, hyejin begs hakyoung to tell yoonsung that hes jiyoung and apologise, this obv gets cut off by gujin
- the story reveals how everything ended 7 years ago with the main couple getting into a car crash otw to meeting grandpa who was hospitalised
- yoonsung received most of the impact since he steered the wheel last minute in order to save jiyoung.
- they both woke up in two different hospital rooms, this is where we see yoonsung’s older brother telling hakyoung to take the money and go
- meanwhile, yoonsung wakes up and people around tell him different stuff that happened to jiyoung.
- he asks the nurse, “what happened to the man that was sitting next to me?” implying that he knew jiyoung’s gender
- yoonsung still held strong that jiyoung was alive and his family is most likely deceiving him, it was until he gets a piece of an article that reveals jiyoung has died at the scene of the hospital from the crash.
- he loses it, and basically does nothing but lay in the hospital bed all long.
- yoonsung’s brother comes in and tells him to get a grip then gives him jiyoung’s ring. yoonsung cries. (me too)
- at this point, he has not lost his memories yet. not sure if he genuinely did lose it, but according to the comment section i read, he loses it a little bit after (so maybe next chapter?)
- back to present time, hakyoung meets him w yoonsung’s SIL and she reveals to him that yoonsung knew that he was a guy before the crash even happened. hakyoung cries (me too)

is this a good read, chat

Similar to the other comments, I got hooked because of the art style! The story line had potential, but it got too dark and depressing (in a gist, it contains abuse, violence, drugs, manipulation, prostitution, death, kidnapping, etc.). The main characters seemed like they couldn’t catch a break (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
But I keep on coming back because I’m curious about the ending, so it’s totally up to you if you are up for it! Despite the stress and “wtf moments”, for me I think it was a good read.
usually whenever i reread stories from well over 5 years ago, it rly j doesnt hit since my reading tastes has gotten mature but royal servant still hits the same as always
This is the most relatable thing anyone has ever said in this site oast 6 yrs I'hv been using
