Karas only gave the 1st commander 1 enemy(out of 20) to kill as his "share." So him being petty he just slashed and cut off the guy's limbs one by one cause if he killed him immediately it'll be no fun
And during the 1st commander's confrontation w the imposter he was ripping that dead soldier's heart out.
Karas also actually killed the hostages to turn the phony's threat of killing the hostage against him. Saying something like "Go on kill him then" and when the phony didn't he killed a hostage saying that these people died because of you, because he didn't kill the hostage in his arms like he threatened he would. He would go off to kill a couple more, including the guy he talked with on the deck the other day.
So, they kinda downplayed the violence here, and didn't really show the extent to how cruel Karas is actually. He literally sees humans as ants, with Abel being the only exception.
Ahh the angst, the confrontation, the ring throwing, the walk off, oh how scrumptious. It had me holding my breath, tightened my chest, had my insides trembling, and almost had me in tears. I felt the pain, the longing, the hatred deep down in my bones. I'd sell my soul to read that part again for the first time.
That rape and confinement part was completely unnecessary and too ooc. I'm so mad at the author for ruining Inho's character ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ. He was supposed to be Albertos's salvation. The one to break Alberto free from the shackles Kacius bound him to. And now of course Alberto's gonna accept Inho despite everything cause he has no one else. He never even had the chance to finally choose for himself. It's no different from how he was with Kacius, just minus the magic and harassment from everyone around him.
