Ml would never apologize because in his mind he is not doing anything wrong, it was all a part of his plan to trap MC forever in this relationship and at the end it works and MC agrees to follow him forever. After MC agrees to never leave him, he mellowed down a lot and the extras are sweet. They definitely reach a point of understanding where they are able to love eo in their own different ways and it was nice to see MC finally fully enjoying himself and not feeling guilty spending ML's money or being pampered by him on trips and stuff

I haven't finished reading all the extras because they are a lottt, but so far yes they do love eo and live happily but ofc it is not a normal love lol, as a couple they both got extra clingy, jealous and demanding of attention towards eo. But they both are ok with it, specially the ml, he thinks it's the cutest thing in the world to see mc being genuinely interested or overtly communicative with him, like just normal yapping about his day or sending him pics or asking him where he is and why. So even when MC makes some mistake that normally would make him mad, he avoids scaring or threaten MC because he doesn't want him to shut himself off and behave cautiously around him as before.
