*FL to Francis:
"Would you like to stay for dinner?"
*me somewhere off in the distance:
"Would you like to stay forever!"
MC is the most mature and sensible BL character I've ever met. I hope he gets the happiest life.

Y'all say FL is stupid, but while it was frustrating to see ML get misunderstood when he's so perfect, I personally think running away for 5 years was the best decision at the time. It's better for the son to grow up first before returning to that place.
Even if she trusted the ML and didn't believe he was the killer, it would've taken too long to figure out that the culprit was the sister and something bad would've happened by then if FL stayed close.
ML himself couldn't trace the assassin back to his sister after 5 years of investigation. How would they have figured out in time before FL got hurt or killed if she stayed?
If FL stayed there while she was pregnant, the poisoned tea would've caused her a miscarriage by then. If FL stayed there and she had a vulnerable newborn baby, they easily could've killed the baby son by then, there's secret assassins and servants under the sister's command without even the ML knowing.
Even if FL stayed away from the ML's house, FL's own sister in her house was a traitor too. FL's brother even asked her to forgive the traitorous sister even after making her suffer for 5 years, so he's not reliable either.
IN THE END, FL was ultimately the one who figured out who the killer was, FL was the one who saved her own son, FL was the one who defeated Margaret.
So really, relying on herself turned out for the best. That's why I don't believe FL was wrong for running away. If she misunderstood ML, then it was just the unfortunate outcome of fear and manipulation she experienced by almost being assassinated.
I don't believe FL is dumb, because she saved her son, defeated the villain, and got her man back. I think she did pretty well, and obviously ML was really good too for holding on.

Spoilers!! Omg? Traitor?? also shoutout to sparkyonline, your theory 2 weeks ago was right.

The prisoner guy who gambles with Myeong-il is working for the creepy Uncle!!! You were right "sparkyonline" with your reply to me, the Uncle WAS spying on Jingi using prisoners instead of the usual guards.
The guy who plays with Myeong-il is being instructed to check for whoever has their hair dyed. BUT idk if he reported about Myeong-il yet...?
-----------------------------------------
I'm not sure how their conversation really went. (Please come quickly official English )
It was like the Uncle asked "Did anyone else get their hair dyed?" the prisoner dude doesn't answer immediately and says "...no, there isn't. The ones that did were quickly replaced"
Idk if that meant the prisoner dude reported correctly to the Uncle that there hasn't been anyone else that Jingi has hair-dyed because they were all replaced?
OR if he lied and false reported to the Uncle that no one's been hair-dyed, and the ones that did are being quickly replaced by Jingi anyway.
And he's actually not telling the Uncle about Myeong-il who is the ONLY one with his hair dyed for the longest time now.
Is he trying not to endanger Myeong-il?? Friend or Foe??
-----------------------------------------
Okay, now that the most important news is done, time for the summary of each character this chapter:
- Jingi -
Myeong-il and Jingi are slowly going back to the way they used to be.
Jingi plans the dates on the calendar for when Heonjae and Myeong-il are released from prison.
Jingi then thinks about what else to teach Myeong-il for the remaining time. Then catches himself thinking about him, and asks himself why is he thinking about that. Then he lies down and presses the bite mark Myeong-il left on his thumb to his lips...
-----------------------------------------
- Heonjae -
Heonjae during CPR class thinks about the trauma of his crime that the other prisoner triggered last chapter. He remembers how much the teacher turned out to hate Heonjae. He was afraid Myeong-il would hate him like that too.
After being imprisoned, he thought about the teacher, but he said with each passing winter, thoughts of him faded away. He spent these 9 years just learning things and following orders. Then just before the 10th year, he met Myeong-il.
-----------------------------------------
- Myeong-il -
He's just as usual. He gets news of the upcoming Sports Festival in the prison. 1st place wins a washing machine. Myeong-il wants to join and win because he says their house doesn't have a washing machine. And he invites Heonjae to compete with him in the Sports Festival to ensure the prize.

- Extra -
Also that one Korean comment on this chapter is right.
When you think about how Heonjae was reminiscing about the teacher who he cut both legs off while resuscitating the CPR mannequin... the doll was only half-body...
Then a panel later, Myeong-il was imagined in place of that mannequin...
The author is actually so scary with details like that in this manhwa, they didn't even directly imply it, but instead the panels just slowly make you stop and think "...oh, sh*t. wait a minute."
Nahhh they're gonna think he's dating that manager lady who takes the front seat in a car of a co-worker who clearly distances themselves from her and wears hair ties that she knows belongs to their girlfriend.
I'm so sorry. I've been misreading the scanlation team's name at the bottom of each chapter for over 13 chapters now. Only to realize it says NECRO Comics, and not... whatever I was thinking.
Doth my eyes deceiveth me? The ML is finally being kind and wholesome !?
Jingi fiddles with his hair when he lies. That's how Heonjae knows whenever he's lying.
Ch. 28 when Heonjae asked Jingi where he was when they were growing up,
and here in Ch. 52 asking Jingi if he likes Myeong-il.
FINALLY, she thought about Francis for once. I know it's unlikely in these types of manhwas, but pleaseeee let them be together. Even just for a little while
Guyss I found it, another clue at chapter 24 when Myeong-il looks through the logs, each one ends with "Tape sent as of [date]" so the prison sends those videos to the Uncle.
So, the tapes the creepy Uncle has in his home, are of Jingi torturing the other inmates AND of when Jingi attempted su*cide multiple times when he first got imprisoned.
Damn ngl, if my fake parents were already sh*t, AND my real parents were insensitive enough to ask me to help the bish who tortured me. I'd just cut off all the parents.
Like, mom seriously? If you wanna help your former daughter then help her yourself, but can't you be more sensible and try not to involve me anymore??
Re-reading and I just realized... who visited Jingi at chapter 9? At first, I thought Jingi saying "I don't wanna see his face" was referring to the Uncle.
But they meet him at chapter 18, and they talk like they're catching up and haven't met for a long time. So, it's not the Uncle.
Maybe Jingi and Heonjae's father? No. Jingi seems to hate him based on what Heonjae said in chapter 20.
Could it be... THEIR THIRD BROTHER?? (mentioned in chapter 27). Who else would visit them other than family?
Idk why their Mom didn't visit before since she's probably already been released from prison a long time ago...
Ah, could it be the possibly middle or oldest brother was the one taking care of their mother while Jingi and Heonjae was in prison?
Who was Jingi using his phone calls for in chapter 29? It has to be the other brother right? There's no other family left to call.
But wait, why didn't the brother inform Jingi about their Mom dying? Why didn't Jingi want to see his face? Bad blood? why? Hmm, damn...idk.
Also, why did Jingi's mom ask for a picture of Jingi to be included in the mail? (chapter 30). Does she know she won't be able to get out of prison for a long time and won't get to see him often, so she wants his photo while she's in prison?
There's a lot of clues lying around this manhwa, that tells a story not being told directly or outright, but in small details that are told quietly like whispers of a secret we aren't in on. Especially in the first 20 chapters.
If you read it again, you'll see there's a lot of panels and dialogue that you probably missed noticing in the first read.
Translators are gooners for that "loves it when I refer to him as Daddy" translation. Could've been from the formal word Father into "Dad" or "Papa"
