I'll explain it how I interpreted it; basically, Hayami (gyaruo) thinks Mitsuya (otaku) was hitting on him after he grabbed his ass, so he assumes Mitsuya wants to be casual sex friends. Mitsuya thought that the whole day he was being treated specially and thought Hayami’s reaction meant Hayami liked him, until well yeah Hayami says otherwise... sorry if my explanation is trash TT
