i heard from the spoilers that the prince is the ml, however the story behind why he seemed like a little bitch is radically different than what the fl saw. Apparently it goes something like the ml in the original novel knew that the fl wasnt veronica bc of her personality and fell in love with her but for some reason like didnt want power other was some problem with his ascension to the throne and trying to protect her so when she gave birth to a boy he was like fuck this is a mistake bc its a guy not a girl so hes legible for the throne. I think his thought process was something like gotta protect this woman by running from competitors for the throne and now that she has a son both his wife and son will be targeted. And then after the fl dies in the original story, the ml realizes that the real veronica has come back so he kills her and protects his son from her but veronicas family was like bitch you did not so then he and his son get executed. IDK what the actual thing was but I know it goes something like this.
