I still hate Ukie. I mean I understand that being a single mom is hard and there’s no perfect mother but I hate the fact that she’s just projecting her insecurities to Yoshiro because he was able to make Waki happy with his cooking which something she failed to fulfil as his mother. I thought the point of the competition was for her to test them how far they could go to prove their love for each other and have her blessing (although I personally think they DIDN’T have to) but even in the end, she’s still selfishly asked Yoshiro to lose just to save her reputation.
